Scooby's TB Hotel and Riverside Pig Resort Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

LosKomodos: Well the Halloween flood seems to have moved this down river. Perhaps it will turn up in somebody's pasture in Luling or something. I certainly isn't here anymore. Oh well. This is a great park that could use a cache or two.

Geocache Description:

TB Hotel near the Blanco River

When I saw that The Blanco Shoals TB hotel was being archived, I knew exactly what I had to do with that old ammo can (from a cache of mine that I had to archive). Back in May, when there was still water in Texas, we stuck our car in the mud after finding the old TB hotel. The fine folks at the fire station across the way tried to help. But eventually we had to bite the bullet and pay for a tow truck. I couldn't just let this cache spot go without a cache.
This is a simple ammo can under a large tree cache. It is closer to the entrance than the old cache, making it a bit of a park and stumble through rattle snake grass and grab style cache. I may move it closer to the river when it cools down a little.
The terrain is set on the high side as the grass can be tall and fire ants abound. I didn't see any piggies on my visits, but I could smell them. Keep an eye out for those guys.
We are launching some new trackables and encourage others to drop and trade tb's as well. Also some decent swag for the little traders.
