airhorns: Oh dear, looks like we've had our fun, nature has taken back GZ, to be fair it's probably against some rule or other and we've had nearly 3 years out of it. 32 finds 11 favs ( 39%)
The cache had fallen on the floor as the hide had split. I've trimmed back the stump, recovered the markers and the cache, sorry sjimbo77, you must have been so close.
Seems like it's had a couple of muggle visits from JEB and LEE on 12/04/14, and there's neils mark on 30th Aug, oh what fun we had.
Check the image gallery if you DNF'd it.
I'm archiving in favour of a new hide, not sure what I'll be yet, but I'm trying for more than 11 favs.

Geocache Description:

Now back in version 3, due to two mugglings of smalls, I'm going for a micro this time, log only, bring a writing stick. Pen/Pencil, not an actual stick. Wellies/Boots recommended, no sling-backs, loafers or sandals. Could be fun at night.

The area is a small wood with a public footpath running through it. Free parking is available at: N53° 55.533 W002° 58.385, bikes can be locked to the gate adjacent the cross. Just walk towards Knott-End and take the footpath on the left immediately before you reach the Cross. The wooded area is directly in front of you. Head for the group of five trees and you'll see the stile to your left. There is no need to venture from the path to find the cache. Don't worry about the West co-ord, stay on the path, really, stay on the path, concentrate on the North co-ord. I got a fix in the clearing and walked North, best of luck, cache has been rated at 3 & passed by MrsA, so no moaning. Ok for Kids and dogs, but they MUST be on a lead, dogs that is, as there are cows in the fields. Well done nesrelleg for being first to find 24th Aug 2011 in it's 1st version.
