Geocache Description:

The first geocache in Vodice at the 600 year old church Sveti Križ.

Vodice was first mentioned in 1402 relating to the start of construction of St. Cross' church (Sveti Križ) although it was founded already in the Roman times as Arausa. Its name derives from the word meaning water sources which supplied the whole area.

The construction was finished in 1421 in the middle of a former graveyard.

The cache is hidden vis-à-vis the main entrance of the church on the left side of the old green door's frame below the iron-framed painting of vodice near the clay bricks about 1m high.
The coordinates aren't very accurate because of the narrow alleys.

Mind the muggles, during summer there are hundreds of people on the steets nearly every time. Please hide the cache very carefully and exactly as you found it, otherwise it won't live long.

If you reach the cache by wheelchair please use the waypoint "Transfer point for wheelchairs".
