This will be a typical Pot Luck event at Split Rock Park beginning at 10:30am and will end with the opportunity to visit and tour the nearby Hawkeye Buffalo Ranch around 1:00pm.
The optional tour is $8(group rate) per person for adults and includes a Lakota Sioux "smudge" Feather Ceremony, a trip out to see and feed the buffalo (actually feeding them from your hand) and a sample of Buffalo Jerky. The Hawkeye Buffalo Ranch also offers items for sale in their gift shop and buffalo meat.
