The North Fylde Circuit is a group of seven Methodist Churches on the Fylde coast served by a team of ministers, both presbyters and deacons. Presbyters have pastoral charge of one or more churches, but preach and lead worship in all the churches in the circuit, along with local (lay) preachers. Deacons minister in particular areas of the circuit undertaking specific projects. We hope you will enjoy visiting our churches and finding out a little more about them. All caches in this series are in high muggle areas. Please be stealthy!!! Fleetwood Methodist Church is a welcoming church serving a large residential area at the south end of Fleetwood. We opened for worship in 1961 in buildings consisting of a dual-purpose church hall and several smaller rooms. It is one of a few churches with a fibre glass roof. The original copper roof and spire had to be removed following a spate of metal thefts. Well done to Dawes Scorpio for FTF!! Please note: This cache meets the Urban Placement Guidelines
