Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This is a drive-by and it is wheel-chair accessible. The cache is smaller than the usual micro container. It is not metallic or magnetic and holds only a log sheet. It is not on the ground or in or on the walls and it is nothing to do with the letter box, the CCTV sign, the wooden milk box or the ride-on railway. The cache is probably harder to find than the official rating.
A hint is available but it is not published as it would derate the difficulty
Lord Penrhyn owned the quarry opposite and the land on this site was part of the quarry manager's estate. A little village beynd the far corner of the field opposite was over-ridden by the spoil from Penrhyn quarry and the St Anne's church had to be re-built further up the hill (you can see the spire of the 'new' church, which is now abandoned).
Please park outside the gates and keep the drive clear as it is in frequent use.
The cache location is not being viewed on CCTV and privacy in the area is not a problem as the property owners are supportive of geocaching. Railway enthusiasts are around on most Tuesdays and trains may be running.
