Well-preserved walls of the cottage Sven Månsson started to build in 1837
The cache consists of a one litre box in a plastic bag.
År 1837 fick Sven Månsson löfte av jordägarna att bruka jorden, om han kunde leva på den. I gengäld fick han göra två dagsverken per vecka. Hans hustru gjorde ett dagsverke per månad.
De välbevarade murarna visar var huset stod, samt hur åkrarna var placerade i anslutning till gården.
Rester av lindallén som var planterad längs vägen fram till huset, finns också kvar.
Dalsgård övergavs för ca 100 år sedan.
In the year of 1837, Sven Månsson was promised of the landowners to build a cottage on this place, if he was able to live on it. In return he had to do two days' work per week. His wife had to do one day's work per month.
The well-preserved walls show where the house stood, and how the fields were located next to the cottage.
Traces of a lime avenue that was planted along the road to the house, are also left.
Dalskog was abandoned about 100 years ago.
