Geocache Description:

This cache will walk you across the Washington Crossing Bridge and up into Washington Crossing State Park. There is no cache at the posted coordinates, but you will have to walk across the bridge to get information for the final cache.

This bridge offers very nice views of the Delaware River. It's also a frighteningly skinny bridge for two-way traffic, but that wasn't the main point of this cache. I hope you enjoy the views as you gather the necessary information, then enjoy a nice walk through a beautiful and historic area.

Please note that this cache is located in NJ, and is about a 1 mile walk from the posted puzzle coordinates. Walk across this bridge on the pedestrian pathway to solve the puzzle. There is no physical cache on the bridge.

The final cache is located at: N 40 18.ABC W 074 51.D48

As you walk across the bridge, you must find:

A= Number of yellow lines on the roadway

B= Number of large trapezoidal spans supporting the bridge

C= Number of car lanes on the bridge

D= Speed limit, minus six

You can check your answer at http://tinyurl.com/3jmnjy6

Check-sum: A+B+C+D=18

When retreiving the cache: please make note of how it is hidden before retrieving. Unclip the carabiner, don’t let go of the white line.

Bonus: if you feel so inclined, stop by benchmarks KV1108 and KV1109 right near the bridge!
