hoekfam: This was our very first cache. Glad an ammo can was able to be hidden in this nice park for almost 6 years without walking away. Checked on it today and it is offically gone. It was a good run, Something Fishy. Thank you to all that looked for it.

”We squirrels have been given a bad rap. We find it repulsive that we get blamed for SO MANY cache burglaries. In fact, it seems that every time a cache appears missing, you humans ALWAYS seem to blame us squirrels. Yes, I know, we do tend to make a mess of your birdfeeders. And, yes we do give you fits when we freeze in the middle of the road while you are driving. But, let’s be realistic people….we are not blood-thirsty criminals! So, in an effort to get back on you humans’ good sides, we have created this series. We hope that with each cache find, you will find it in your human heart to forgive us and offer us a SQUIRREL’S REDEMPTION .”

This particular cache we call SOMETHING FISHY . It should be a fairly easy find. Our squirrel family noticed a tree nearby that resembles fish scales, hence its name.

There are several caches in this SQUIRREL’S REDEMPTION series. The more you humans find and enjoy our hides, the more caches we place.
