Came into possession of some decon boxes and after a bit of sprucing up I released them into the wild. **NOTE** IF YOU PLAN TO HIKE FROM HERE TO HWY 62 YOU WILL SEE A SIGN AT CAROLINA MILL THAT SAYS TURN BACK. IGNORE IT. THE COUNTY JUST HASN'T GOTTEN AROUND TO REMOVING IT. YOU ARE ALLOWED TO HIKE THE PROPERTY BETWEEN TRAILS. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ENTER THE MILL.
Alamance County is gettin' busy with the Haw River Trail. This little section of trial is 2 miles long and runs from Hwy 62 Paddle access to Stoney Creek Reservoir. You can do as I did and hike it out and back from Hwy 62 or you can drop off a relay car at the other end. Or you could start at the lake. I've listed both parking areas. Trail mainly runs along the river and/or the mill race. Here it crosses 2 roads between the lake and river. Most of the caches are hidden within a few feet of the trail. This one might be tricky.
