Geocache Description:

This cache is located in beautiful Hoeft State Park on the shore of Lake Huron. The park is located approximately five miles north of Rogers City on US-23. The most convenient parking is at the pavilion lot N 45 27.932 W 083 52.890. Pick up a trail map at the gate house, particularly if you are going to do multiple caches in the park or need to use the hints. This cache is located at the edge of the park and could be a P&G with short hike, if you are only doing one cache.

This cache is one of several currently within the boundaries of Hoeft State Park. This series is placed with the cooperation of Hoeft State Park. Please cache in a responsible manner so that we may be allowed to keep caches in the park. The cache itself is a half-gallon tupperware clone decorated with the traditional camo-paint and a MIGO cache sticker.

All caches in this series are located within a few feet of marked trails. For this cache only minimal bushwacking is required. Because of this the cache is under/behind cover. Please rehide the cache so as to not be visible to muggles.

Hoeft State Park is one of the most outstanding parks in the Midwest. It features beautiful campsites, excellent picnic facilities, a sandy beach and a remarkable CCC pavilion. Visit the park website at the address at the top of this listing.
