Geocache Description:

Beautiful hike around Stony Creek Reservoir.

Alamance County is gettin' busy with the Haw River Trail. This little section of trial is 2 miles long and runs from Hwy 62 Paddle access to Stony Creek Reservoir. You could start at the lake. Or you can do as I did and hike it out and back from Hwy 62 or you can drop off a relay car at the other end. I've listed both parking areas. Trail mainly runs along the river and/or the mill race. Here it winds along the lake shore. Most of the caches are hidden within a few feet of the trail. I had a bit of a time deciding where to put this one.
