Hollow Bastion is the castle at the center of Radiant Garden; however in the first Kingdom Hearts, it is all that remains of said world. It is an original world created solely for the Kingdom Hearts series; it is the actual homeworld for many original, Disney, and Final Fantasy characters.
In the first game, Maleficent bases her evil plot out of Radiant Garden, and it is the site of Sora's final confrontation with her. Of course, the evil runs deeper than her...
