Geocache Description:


This cache is part of a short series along the disused railway line between Ynysmeardy and Talbot Green. It travels directly behind the Royal Glamorgan Hospital. The terrain is flat but not paved, not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs, and can often be muddy (especially between Rail Trail 1 and 2.) The series will probably take no longer than an hour to complete.
Parking is available at N51 32.693 W003 23.506. Proceed on foot, turning right into Rhodfa Marics Road. Head towards the Royal Glamorgan Hospitals south entrance then take the public footpath signposted just before hospital entrance gate.
NB The trail can be a little eerie when the light fades!
