Explore Ap Lei Chau, the most densely populated island in the world, climb on top of the mountain and enjoy the view of the Lamma Channel and hundreds of yachts in the Aberdeen Typhoon Shelter.
Ap Lei Chau is a small island south of Hong Kong Island. Aberdeen typhoon shelter, home to hundreds of fishing vessels and yachts, is located between these two islands.
Climb the mountain, enjoy the view of the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, huge container ships in Lamma Channel, Lamma Island and eagles floating in the air far below.
Some important points:
- The peak is 145 meters high. Most of the path is narrow, unpaved and very steep. No special equipment is needed, but be careful about rocks that may slide.
- Absolutely unsuitable for bikes and will be very difficult for small children.
- A great place to watch the sunrise or sunset, but there is no shelter to hide from the rain or sun at noon.
- The cache is tiny and only fits a small log, no other items. Please bring your own pen!

Some hints that will help you find the cache:
1. Lei Tung sounds like a good thing to start a day with.
2. You may be tempted to do some sports on your way, but resist and just skip it.
3. Saltwater is not drinkable, but still helpful for travelers.
4. Although you may feel fenced off sometimes, that only means you're going the right way.
5. If something is written in red colour, that must be really important.
