L’Aube est le plus important cours d’eau du département après la Marne. La cache est située à Arbot. Ce sont les religieux de l'abbaye d'Auberive qui ont participé à la mise en valeur des terres de ce village en y bâtissant des granges dès le XIIème siècle. Au XIXème siècle, Arbot a connu une activité particulière : la fonderie de cloches.

The Aube is the most important river of the department after the Marne. The hiding place is situated to Arbot. It is the members of a religious order of the abbey in Auberive who participated in the development of the lands of this village by building barns there from the XIIth century. In the XIXth century, Arbot knew a particular activity: the foundry of bells.
