[FR] La cathédrale Notre-Dame-des-Pommiers, placée sous l'invocation de Saint-Thyrse, est l’ancienne cathédrale du diocèse de Sisteron. Avec ses trois nefs, elle est l’un des plus grands édifices religieux de Provence. Elle est de style roman soumis aux influences lombardes (portail, chevet). Construite entre 1160 et 1220. C’est un édifice classé monument historique en 1840.

[EN] Sisteron Cathedral, now the Church of Notre-Dame-des Pommiers is a Roman Catholic church, formerly a cathedral, and national monument of France, in Sisteron, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence.
The cathedral, dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary and Saint Thyrsus, was the seat of the Bishops of Sisteron, who had a second seat at Forcalquier Cathedral. The bishopric was abolished under the Concordat of 1801 and merged into the Diocese of Digne.
The Romanesque building, one of the most sizeable religious structures in Provence, was built between 1160 and 1220.
