An Underwater Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

hobgoblinkiteflier: I went to check up on the cache and I could not find it. It's definitely not where it should be. Instead of hiding yet another replacement, I have decided to let this one go. Thanks for all the logs and favourite points.

Geocache Description:

An underwater cache, but you should not have to use your scuba gear or even get wet. The cache was originally a "recycled" plastic fruit jar, but has been replaced with a more conventional tub.

Aqueduct

The aqueduct pictured above takes water from the river Almond and feeds it into the Union Canal at Lin's Mill a couple of miles downstream.  It is quite a feat of engineering as the water not only crosses over the river, it goes through long tunnels before it reaches the canal.

You may find the link to the related web page useful - anything below 0.4 should make the visit to GZ relatively straightforward.  When placing the cache, GPS was rather erratic on a number of visits, but the clue and cache title should help. To claim this as a find, you must sign the log book.  I will check it from time to time and I will delete bogus online logs.
