Located on west side of Devils Lake
. There are several ways to get here on all weather roads for the most part. The most scenic drive is on the west side of Devils Lake, coming from the north. At one point on the west side of the lake you will be at 2050 feet elevation, one of the highest elevations in this area. The cache is located just off the edge of a public road, on the approach to a long abandoned homestead. No need to drive in, just park at the entrance. Walk to the first big spruce tree on north side of entrance. Turn and face south. Walk into those trees right in front of you and you will find the ammo box hidden beneath an old tin bucket. I am making this cache very easy to find. If you came in from the north, you can then continue on south that will eventually get you to highway #15. From there you can then head east to get to highway #2, and thus back to Watrous area. During seeding or harvest times, beware of grain trucks coming over the hills towards you. Also beware of wildlife in early morning and late evening hours. Be sure to take a camera along.
