Ned's Hut? Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions

A small cache in a lovely bit of Beechworth Historic Park.
Did Ned Kelly or his mates use this ruined 'hut' on their trips in to town? There's no evidence but someone built it long ago - it even had a chimney of sorts. It's a one-person shelter which probably had a canvas roof.
Please be careful getting to this one as the rocks can be VERY slippery when wet or moss-covered. Park at the lookout on the Gorge Rd and admire the view! (The large building in the distance is the new Beechworth Gaol - quite spectacular at night..)
Please replace stones you move as well as you can. The cache is near the hut but NOT in the hut!
Cache is a small Systema container with logbook, pencil, a keyring and a few coins from my travels.
