Goresbridge, east county Kilkenny.
Goresbridge is named after Colonel Ralph Gore who built this bridge over the River Barrow in 1756.
It is a nine-arch road bridge and consists of unrefined locally-sourced stone walls sitting on granite ashlar piers. The refined dressings of Carlow granite display expert stone masonry.
WARNING - The cache is located in a park area beside the river, which has unprotected banks. Take care if bringing children or at night.
