Olewaif: It is certainly with a heavy heart that I archive the caches of this series..my personal favorites of all my hides ! Still, no one was interested in adopting ( can't blame em ) , and they all must go so there is now a very nice road area not far from town clear of geocaches . Life goes on. All cache containers were retrieved .

Geocache Description:

Cache containers in this series are all camoed pill bottles hanging on hooks on back of trees. Height is from 3- 6' up.
None of the coordinates shown are in any ways correct for finding the caches. They simply make the pattern I wanted in the water.

This puzzle cache series takes us on a tour of the 37 premiers of PEI ( plus a couple other people ) . You need to access the information page on the PEI provincial government site for each premier to obtain the numbers you need to fit in the formula to get the correct coordinates for each cache.

I 8 : Pat Binns

PAT BINNS was former Premier and Leader of the Progressive Conservative Party of Prince Edward Island was born October 8, 1ABC. He is the son of Stanley Ernest Binns and Phyllis Mae Evans.
In 1971, he received a Master of Arts degree in Community Development from the University of Alberta. After completing his college education, Mr. Binns worked as a development officer for the Government of Alberta. He moved to Prince Edward Island in 1972 and worked for the Rural Development Council of PEI.
Mr. Binns worked in the provincial government of Prince Edward Island from 1974-78, during which time he coordinated the establishment and administration of the regional services centres in eastern PEI. In 1978, he was a recipient of the Queen's Silver Jubilee Medal for Outstanding Public Service.
He was elected to the Prince Edward Island Legislative Assembly in 1978. From 1979-84, he served in the provincial legislature and held several cabinet portfolios including Industry, Municipal Affairs, Fisheries, Environment, Labour, Housing and had responsibilities for Economic Development. From 1984-88, Mr. Binns served as a Member of Parliament in the House of Commons representing the riding of Cardigan and was a member of the standing committees on agriculture and fisheries. He also served as Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans.
From 1988-96, Mr. Binns worked in the private sector, as president of both Island Bean Limited and Pat Binns & Associates. Along with his wife Carol and family, they operate an edible bean farm at Hopefield, PEI.
Mr. Binns was elected Member of the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island for District 5, Murray River-Gaspereaux, in the general election of November 18, 1996. He was sworn in as Premier, President of the Executive Council and Minister Responsible for Intergovernmental Affairs on November 27, 1DEF. Mr. Binns was re-elected to the Legislative Assembly on April 17, 2000, and sworn in as Premier on May 1, 2000. Mr. Binns was re-elected for his third term in September, 2003. During the provincial election of May 28, 2007, Mr. Binns was elected as representative for District # 4, Belfast - Murray River. Currently, he serves as Official Leader of the Opposition, as well as Opposition Critic for Finance, Attorney General and the Premier.
Active in his community, Mr. Binns was involved in the planning and construction of the Northumberland Arena, and is a founder and active organizer of the Northumberland Fisheries Festival.
On August 30, 2007, the Honourable Pat Binns accepted the diplomatic post as Canada's Ambassador to Ireland.
Mr. Binns and his wife Carol (nee MacMillan) have four children: Rob, Mark, Bradley and Lilly.
