Geocache Description:

This cache is located on the Eastern side of the A4069 in Lower Brynaman.

This cache was set up in the memory of our mum/nan who was brought up close to the cache location in Cannon Street. Her father was a coal face worker for 46 years and her mother was a cook in the local school. Following Brenda's death after a long battle against lung cancer on the 24th May 2011 aged 64, her ashes were placed in Ebenezer cemetery (about 100 yards east of this cache). Brenda leaves behind 2 children and five grandchildren who all love to geocache. The cache is a small click lock box with room for a log, TB's and some swaps. This is the starting point for Brenda's TB to head to sunnier places, which she loved when she was alive.
