Such a big statue ... such a tiny cache.
"You Can't Roller Skate __ _ _______ ____" was a Top 40 hit for Oklahoma singer/songwriter Roger Miller in 1966. If you can complete the lyric, you've got a leg up on solving the theme of this Lawton cache run. All 15 caches are micros or smaller. Very high muggle factor at most locations, so use extreme stealth.
This was originally conceived to be a single multi-cache, but the more we looked, the more locations we found. I don't know anyone who's got the patience for a 12-part multi-cache, so we did it this way. The initial series was placed for the enjoyment of the SouthWest Area Geocachers (SWAG) and the Texoma Geocaching Assn. (ToGA) for a meeting in Lawton, but proved so popular that additional locations were added.
At this stop, you're looking for a nano in what is likely the most difficult cache in the series because of the possible hiding locations. Please take note, muggles are everywhere during the day, and security is pretty tight at night, adding to the difficulty. If a muggle isn't walking by, he's probably watching out a nearby window.
Trivia: Cameron University was founded in 1908 as the Cameron State School of Agriculture, named for the Rev. Evan Dhu Cameron, a Baptist minister and Oklahoma’s first Superintendent of Schools. True to his Scottish heritage, the Reverend Cameron pronounced his name "Even Doo."
