St Peter's church is located on the south side of Caswell Road at its junction with Nottage Road. It was built in 1901-3 in Decorated style to designs of E.M.Bruce Vaughan, and is constructed of greenish Bridgend Sandstone, rock-faced walling inside and out, and Bath stone dressings under slate roofs. It consists of a short-aisled three-bay clerestoried nave and a richly appointed chancel which features a high and wide arch. The aim to build a south-east tower was only partly realised. Stained glass includes works by Kempe & Tower (1912), Whipple & Co (1960s) The Church Is Open Daily
