*gln: ARCHIVING ABANDONED CACHE

Greetings phenixcachers,

Looks like our timing is off, and It’s time to say goodbye to this cache.

Since I haven't seen any maintenance here in a while, I am going to assume that your priorities have changed, and you’ve gone in a different direction.

Archiving due to lack of maintenance is permanent.
CACHE ARCHIVAL IS PERMANENT.

Let me know if I can be of assistance in the future.

Thanks a MILLION for all you have done, Glenn

Geocache Description:

Another simple roadside cache on a simple, lonely, less traveled backroad/Farm Road outside of Ash Grove.

While hiding caches today in this cool area, I found this cool hiding spot, but couldnt think of a cool sounding name/title for the cache.
Well, it only took a matter of seconds after hiding the cache--that the perfect name/title came to me.
I named the cache "The Sound of the River"--because I noticed and heard the distinct sound of running water down below on the Sac River.
It was a refreshing sound--especially today on this near 100 degree day and I was extremely hot!
Hearing that running water down below, also made me quite thirsty and made me wanna go jump into it to cool off..haha

You too will enjoy the "sound of the River" while you are at this cache sight.
This is a neat area!

Cache container is a LONG sized pill bottle.
I kinda had difficulty in getting good coord readings due to the area...so just in case the coords might be off, I will give a couple good hints on the cache page to help ya find it.

There will be a slope to go up to reach the cache, but its not too steep.

Please make sure both ziplocks are sealed.

There should be a single medium sized "hard natural object" resting on top of the cache.
This hides it from muggles and protects it from water.
Please make sure that object gets placed back on top of the container (gently tho, please..haha)

Dont forget your pen/pencil!
Good Luck and Enjoy!
Cache on my friends...
Scott (phenixcachers)
