This cache was originally dedicated to one of our geocaching comrades who had suffered a significant medical setback and was temporarily off of the trail. I am happy to report that he has recovered significantly and is back on the trail again!
One of the first cachers to find this cache sent me a note about his daughter who was seriously injured and was also off of the trail for a period of time. So this cache remains dedicated to fellow geocachers, their family, and/or friends who have sufferred a medical setback of some sort and could use some encouraging words.
When you log the cache, feel free to dedicate your entry as you see fit. I just ask that you respect the privacy of your friend or family member and use a geocaching ID or some similar identifier rather than using their name. Then you can have them monitor the logs as folks visiting the cache send their get well wishes.
The cache container is a plastic lock-n-lock box full of the normal swag. It is located next to a rail trail so it is fine to bring the kids for a nice walk. If you go a little farther North on a nice day you will most likely see skydivers enjoying their favorite pasttime.
I rated the difficulty at 2.5 because you have to scramble up a fairly steep bank next to the trail in order to get to the cache location. Also in the summer be sure to watch out for poison ivy that grows along the bank.
