Bye, Bye, Miss Evil Cow Pie Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Trail Reader: I don't have good news about this cache. As mentioned by a previous cacher, four large trees had been brought down by recent wind and rains. Although GZ was unaffected, I could find no sign of the cache, despite searching every tree still standing in the area. Because the lot is also for sale, I have made the tough decision to archive, rather than replace. I loved reading the logs from this popular cache and I loved that it was an honor cache for my sister, Evil Cow Pie. ... So I guess today is the day the music died. Archived.

Geocache Description:

So bye-bye, Miss Evil Cow Pie.
Drove my Chevy to the levee,
But the levee was dry.
And them good old boys were drinkin' whiskey and rye
Singin', "This'll be the day that I die.
This'll be the day that I die."

--With apologies to Don McLean

Yes, you might have driven here in a Chevy. Yes, there is a levee of sorts. Yes, there might even be some outdoor imbibing on occasion here. We will have to draw the line, however, at death, although heartbreak will be allowed.

Evil Cow Pie will soon be hoofing it over the hills to warmer pastures. Her larger-than-life personality and twisted sense of humor will be sorely missed. She has made our caching community richer by her contributions and we wish her well in her new home.

The container is a camo'd pill bottle filled with trade items and a log. Please bring your own pen.
