The Ex-Shanklin 'Girls' (The Nickster (N), and Mum (H) of SPO and Mum), having been friends for 40 years (50 years in spring 2021!), placed some caches to celebrate.
We spent lots of time in the late 1970s and early 80s around Victoria Avenue (you can guess why when you get there).
The cache site is just off Victoria Avenue but is overlooked by housing so extreme stealth is required.
Stand back and have a look and you can probably work out where it is discreetly from a distance before diving in and attracting attention!
In order to claim the Nostalgia - Bonus cache (GC3HT2J) you need to find (nearly) all 13 of the other Nostalgia caches and make a note of the letters and numbers from their log books and/or cache containers.
If completing this series as a circular walk, we suggest the following caches next:
Clockwise; GC3H26D Nostalgia - Batts Copse. Follow Victoria Avenue away from the traffic lights then turn north along Albert Road to it’s end.
Anti-clockwise; GC3BCX6 Nostalgia - D&D’s Golden Wedding Anniversary. Follow the High Street downhill from the traffic lights.
