This is the 7th in the series “We’re going on a bear hunt” named after the popular children’s book by Michael Rosen and Helen Oxenbury. This story has been a favorite with all the wrestling badgers and we felt a cache series in its honor was a must. We have designed the series with children and their parents in mind. It’s an approximate 2-3mile circular walk around Middleforth, Preston junction nature reserve and adjoining newly laid public paths along the old tramways. Permission has been granted from Lancashire countryside service to place these caches There are 12 Caches with clues to a Bonus 13th Mystery Cache. All the caches can be found by following the well marked Public footpaths.
Car parking is available near to cache 1 entering Middleforth Green Park from Marshalls brow/Pope lane.Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

We’ve found the 7th cache. This is a high muggle area so please re-hide to cache carefully. This cache is a small plastic box in a camo bag with swappables, log and pencil. Don’t forget to get the clue for the final bonus cache.
