Geocache Description:

A small tank museum in place of the war-demolished village of Mariino.

Nearly all the Soviet tanks that took part in the WWII: T-26, T-34, KV-1, KV-1S, high-speed BT-5 and floating T-38A are installed close to the shore of the Neva river on the former car parking. Most of the tanks had been raised from the bottom of the river Neva, where they sank in unsuccessful attempts to cross to the left bank, which had been occupied by Germans. Near the tanks also there is the "Breakthrough of the Siege of Leningrad" diorama-museum. Drivers and riders - Beware! Driving pattern of the intersection is quite complicated, lots of one-way roads, don`t be confused!
