APRASYMAS LIETUVISKAI

Tuputiškiu kelio serpantinas - vienintelis Lietuvoje. Nei ilgiu, nei aukšciu jis negali lygintis su kalnu serpantinais, bet vingiu staigumu tikrai jiems nenusileidžia. Akmenimis gristas Tuputiškiu serpantinas, nutiestas 20 a. pradžioje, sujunge Aukštutini ir Žemutini Pavilni - kaip geležinkelininku gyvenviete, pradeta statyti 1908 m. 1997 metais serpantinas itrauktas i Kulturos paveldo objektu saraša.

ENGLISH DESCRIPTION

Tuputiškiu serpentine is the only one of its kind in Lithuania. We can compare neither its length nor its heigth with those in the mountains, but it's windings are not worse. Tuputiškiu serpentine was paved in the beginning of 20th century. It connected Upper and Lower Pavilnius. In the year 1997 the serpentine was added to the list of cultural heritage of Lithuania.
