They think it's all over................ Multi-Cache
fdhghjghjghghgh: Well after more than 4 years, and over a year since last logged, i think it's time to shelf this one. I have removed the container from the GZ today.
Thanks to all that have taken the time to do this one, its a pity that this kind of cache, which takes a bit more effort and time to complete doesn't appeal to a wider audience.

For this cache we have chosen a nice little walk just out of the centre of Long Sutton, the route will take you over the entrance of the Somerton rail tunnel although it is difficult to train spot due to tree cover!
The walk from car to cache and back should take about an hour all being well, so this is not a cache and dash, but the ground is pretty easy so all ages should cope without a problem! However the path can get muddy when wet so suitable footwear should be worn
This is another multi stage cache, with four easy stages to obtain clues for the code of a padlock on the cache container as well as the location of the container itself!
Once found, there is a little twist to obtain access to the logbook. This will make itself clear once found and will be self explanatory, the title of the cache may give a clue!
From our previous cache the same rule applies, finding the cache itself will not count if the logbook has not been signed, it will be checked at various intervals!
Ok on with the details!
The co-ordinates above are for the parking area on the main road from Long Sutton to Langport, there is space for a number of vehicles.
Stage 1:
Head for N 51° 02.151 W 002° 45.862, how many slats are there in the bench?
Note this number as A
Stage 2:
Now head for N 51° 02.357 W 002° 45.913
Look for the Yellow arrow on green backround, how many air rifle holes/dents are there in the yellow arrow area, only count holes/dents where the centre is in the yellow
Note this number as B
Stage 3:
Head for N 51° 02.476 W 002° 45.868
In the last section of the fence, how many spikey slats are there (the ones with 3 spikey bits). Take this number, take away 3, then divide by 2
Note this number as C
Stage 4:
Head for N 51° 02.697 W 002° 46.063
How many words are there in the sign on the gate?
Note this number as D
Checksum for all clues is 25
Final Location for cache is at N 51° 02.A8B W 002° 46.0DC
Due to tree cover you may need to widen the search slightly to locate the cache, however it is an ammo box so shouldn’t take too much hunting to find!
Once at the cache the code for the padlock is ABCD
Please rehide the cache with the camouflage provided to allow following cachers to enjoy the challenge!
£5 FTF has been placed in the cache!
