A Municipal Boundary Road is a temporary dirt roadway that is created for future residential development. City planners create these roadways, which are elevated and with trenched ditches.
This north west assiniboia municipal boundary road was created in the 1950's for future development that has yet to be developed. This boundary road can be accessed from the north or the south and is situated in the centre of a piece of land that if was to be developed, heavy machinery would easily gain access to the east and the west by traveling down the road.
Viewed from a satellite image, the roadway is clearly visible.
This 3.5km road takes you between farmers fields as well a as a dense wooded area. You may encounter some wildlife such as deer, birds and maybe the odd fox.
Enjoy the hike or mountain bike ride.
You are looking for a cache that is a solar LED lantern. It is off the ground, so it is winter friendly.
There is only a log book, but has room for trackables and trading items. Bring a writing stick.
