Geocache Description:

Cary Grant film title series #2

Gambling Ship is one of Cary Grant's first movies, filmed just a year after he came to Hollywood. As soon as you see the container and location, you'll understand perfectly why I chose this as the title for this cache!

Located at Hubbard Creek, just south of Port Orford, there is a large, easily accessible parking lot on the Northbound side of Hwy 101. After you park, take the trail down under the bridge, then let your GPS guide you the rest of the way.

Hubbard Creek is very popular with the local surfers (so if you like to surf, check the surf report and bring your board if the swells are good). However, if you are NOT a surfer, and the parking lot is full, don't be discouraged because the cache is not viewable from the waves.
