The USI-Burdette Trail is a 2.5 mile long bike and pedestrian trail that connects the western Vanderburgh County icons.
As of the placement of this cache, the 2.5 miles trail is nearing completion. The section from Burdette heading towards USI has long been completed and the section from USI heading towards Burdette is complete as well. Work on the middle section is in the final phases with opening slated for Fall 2011.
The cache is a rubbermaid container with tradable swag toys in it.
A small amount of bushwhacking will be needed, but it is not too far off the main trail.
