Geocache Description:

Nzkeko’s Quickstop #1


SH2 follows the coast line from the Waiotahi plains to close to Opotiki. There is a Rest Area with nice views to the sea and the East Coast. Plenty of parking space and at times dramatic sea waves

Look for a pohutukawa tree. And please replace it as you found it.


The cache has been replaced with a film canister. Bring your own pen. Watch the road that can be busy at times.

Watch the children as it is close to the road. Retrieving requires some stealth because of the traffic and at times the high number of muggles. Good luck
