Geocache Description:

Number Lords’ Prime Shrine – NLPS

This cache is not at this location. If you find yourself searching in a dangerous, private, or unsafe location for this cache you are in the wrong spot. You are looking for a large plastic peanut butter jar with room for trading items. The container will be attached to something with a thin string to help keep it from wandering off. Have fun and good luck.

There may be an animal living very near ground zero. Please approach with caution.

… as I was placing my geocache they appeared before me. A man and a woman materialized without a sound. I stood there, surprised, amazed, and speechless. They were well dressed in nice clothing, but I sensed they were not from earth. When they spoke they told me they were the Number Lords, Isaac and Dana. Dana asked me who I was, and then Isaac asked me if I was a Number Lord. I told them I am Walk This Way, Walk This Way. They smiled and paused for a moment, perhaps reflecting on some inside joke. I was considering how to answer their Number Lord question.

Isaac raised a hand up, so that I saw the back of his hand. Dana looked at Isaac’s palm for a moment and then said to Isaac. “You see, he is a Number Lord and not a Time Lord. This is not Dr Who.” I looked confused, so Isaac turned his hand so that I could see his palm. Part of his hand contained a built in video screen. It was like a mobile device was part of him. So I watched a video on his hand. There I saw Art my crow, a black falcon, Proximity Island, TAGG, and a pirate flag. I understood that they knew all about me.

This is the Ulam Spiral for the numbers 1 to 160,000.

Isaac said, “you know this is a holy place.” I said I knew, and then knelt before them. Each one put a hand on my shoulders. Dana touched my GPS and looked at it. “Ah, the coordinates of this place. Two 7 digit numbers with a decimal point that is irrelavent.” Isaac asked, “are you here by accident?” I said no, and then Dana spoke. “For a Number Lord this place is no accident, it is a shrine. Look at the North coordinate on the GPS. The 7 digits are a prime number. Oh, and the checksum is a prime number. If you remove the first two digits you’ll see that the last 5 digits are a prime number. Remove two more digits and you’ll see that the last three digits are a prime number. Furthermore, the 7 digit number is the sum of three consecutive prime numbers.” I smiled, and that appeared to please Dana and she smile back. Then Isaac spoke, "when you look at the West coordinate those 7 digits are a prime number. And the checksum is a prime number too. Next remove the first two digits you can see that the last 5 digits are a prime number. Remove two more digits and can see that the last three digits are a prime number. One last thing, the 7 digit number is the sum of five consecutive prime numbers.” I smiled again, and this made Isaac happy too. Isaac said, “you really know your numbers.” I said, “thank you.”

Dana asked me to bow for a blessing. Then Isaac and Dana thanked me for bringing my geocache to the Number Lords' Prime Shrine, and then gave me their number blessing. Their hands then left my shoulders and when I looked up they were gone ...

You can receive your number blessing when you visit the Number Lords’ Prime Shrine.

You will need to bring your own pen or pencil and sign the cache log.
