Geocache Description:


This cache is along the National Cycle Route 3 and not far from a pub where you can enjoy refreshment after a busy day caching. This is our first cache and hope it will be fun for children ( and the young at heart!) although some caution should be taken on the road and nearby level crossing.

This is a popular place for trainspotting and during the summer you may see the Torbay Express on route to Kingswear, it is one of the most famous express steam trains of the post war years.

Layby parking a few metres away can be used for a cache and dash, or half a mile down the road you can walk the footpath along the River Tone.

The cache should only be accessed from the roadside but the landowner is aware of the cache.

Contains a log book (in a nutty place!) a pen and a few small sized treasures to swap.

There is a 'bottle of bubbly' for the first to find- Congrats to the HowarthClan for their FTF! :)
