This Cache commemorates an imaginary demarcation of prosaic longitudinal and historically exacerbated insignificance.
****************
When you find this cache you will be standing on the 80th Longitude West Line. A line of historical indifference that runs all the way from the North Pole through Morgantown to the South Pole.
There is no marker, only this cache, to remind us of this historical spot.
I would highly recommend parking at the trail parking on rt73 and not driving down the backroad parallel to the trail and then going over the embankment as I see some attempting to do on other trail caches. This is a mile walk, or so, and halfway to "Wanna Go To the Can" by wvhunter.

The continuing saga of Corky "wrong way" Meriwether and his wife Edna.
This cache marks the first location that a famous phrase was uddered and one of the many reasons Corky's and Edna's love story is one of tepid adulation.
By this point in history and many years after the stories told at my other W080 caches I, II and III (GC32GMH, GC32VNV, GC32ZQC) they began to get many neighbors.
Corky and his wife were settled in to their new home, but Edna noticed that every morning Corky would leave before dark and come back first thing every morning with a fresh bucket of milk.
Edna being the curious one and knowing Corky must be up to no good, followed him one morning. After peaking up over the hill and noticing him milking the neighbor's cow, she promptly walked up to Corky still bent down under the cow and asked him what he was doing!
"Well, I'm getting us some milk Edna".
Edna asked, why don't we just buy our own cow so you don't need to walk a few miles every morning to get it.
Corky quickly responded, "Why buy the cow, when you can get your milk for free."
Only now are we realizing the absolute genious that Corky was. Many attribute famous quotes to George Washington, Abraham Lincoln and Ben Franklin. Some of the wisest men that lived.
Yet Corky has his own brand of wiseness and just now are these stories getting out to the general public for all to see.
Enjoy the cache and the walk!
