Congrats to RottenBird on the FTF!
In the summer of 2011, there were several coinciding reports of strange lights in the sky over a sensitive laboratory complex in Tallahassee, Florida. The ensuing investigation revealed a large patch of disturbed earth covered in what appeared to be a strange, unidentified substance.
Subsequent chemical analysis of this substance showed it to be a mixture of two compounds. The first proved to be a combination of zinc, manganese, cadmium, and carbon. The second contained traces of polonium, potassium, phosphorus, and nitrogen.
As it became clear that these compounds were ones which do not occur on earth, it was instantly decided that news of the incident should be kept secret from the public to avoid the panic that would certainly result from such a revelation. The area was cleared, the episode covered up, and to this day, not a trace of the encounter remains… or does it?
This should be a quick one, both the puzzle and the cache.
