Another scenic view cache.
This cache is near a USFS fire lookout and practically a drive-up. The lookout is active so don't hesitate to meet the fire spotter on duty. Although not much chance of reaching this cache in the winter, summer shouldn't be much trouble. The road is in pretty 'fair' shape for being on a USFS road. A few rough spots but no special vehicles needed. The cache is a small tupperware type container.
Be aware though, there is a gate on the road to the cache. If the fire spotter is not on duty, the gate may be locked. If it is locked, don't worry, it is only about a two mile hike up the road.
Once you make it there, enjoy the views - both down the Klamath River or up into Oregon.
