The terrian starts with a swampy wide path the goes about 1 mile back when you get to the lookout as we call it you will have to do minimal bushwacking to find the ammo container.
Welcome to the lookout We hope you enjoy the beautiful view of the drums valley from this spot. In the 1940's a train track for mining ran through these mountain evidence is the pillars on the ledge. My Greatgrandfather was killed working these mines in 1950 in a mine explosion with dynamite. Enjoy the view and history you will see all around in this area. Please Do not leave markings on the rock wall as it is against geocache rules and will cause a stir. people have gathered on this ledge for decades including for wedding pictures!!!
