[DE] Der Mapragg-Stausee liegt im Taminatal und bildet zusammen mit
dem grösseren und höher gelegenen Gigerwald-Stausee ein
zweistufiges Speicherkraftwerksystem mit zwei Staudämmen.
[EN] Mapraggsee is a lake in Tamina Valley serving as a reservoir
for electric power production. Together with the bigger
Gigerwaldsee higher up in the valley, it is part of a two lake
reservoir system with two dams.
[DE] Das Taminatal ist dermassen reich an Superlativen, da ist der
Mapraggsee schon fast ein Mauerblümchen. Doch ein Besuch lohnt
sich, es gibt imposante und abwechslungsreiche Landschaft zu
entdecken.
Der Cache liegt am Wanderweg entlang dem See. Gleich nebenan
fliesst der Bschissnebach in den See - was für ein poetischer Name,
da gehört doch ein Cache hin!
