Informal gathering of geocachers from in or around Charlotte County 3-4:30PM on Sunday, September 11th at the Port Charlotte Panera Bread on Tamiami Trail.
Come socialize with fellow cachers from in and around Charlotte County.
We will meet at Panera Bread Company, but no need to buy anything there.
The coordinates and descriptions for a number of new caches will be distributed at the event to allow participants to find them either alone or in groups. If you are interested in placing a cache for this event, please tell the reviewer that it's for this event so that it is not published beforehand. These caches should be initially submitted early (ideally by Sept 1st) to allow time to process and adjust for conflict with puzzle caches. And, it would be good to make them reasonably close to the event location.
Our local cachers demonstrate skill and creativity in their home-made cache containers, so we'll be doing a raffle of our cache containers. Please consider bringing a cache container to donate to the raffle.
