TW09: Mill Downs Traditional Cache

One of a dozen caches set close to the route of the Tinners Way, a Bronze Age trading route of tin and copper. The caches follow a 16 mile track that covers 20 prehistoric and Christian sites tracing as closely as possible the ancient paths along which tin and copper were transported by people, sledges and pack animals from the mineral-rich area of St. Just to the sheltered anchorage of St. Ives bay.

After the pleasant walk along the track to this cache the scenery opens up again offering some fabulous views towards the rugged north coast.

The track leading from the west is a private road, and public access is only allowed for walkers, cyclists and horse-riders. Please don't attempt to drive right up to the cache.

You are looking for a 1L Lock&Lock container.

When hidden the cache contained a logbook and pencil (please leave these items in the cache) and various swaps (all new). If you decide to take something please leave something of equal or higher value. Travel Bugs and Geocoins are not trade items, so if you can help a TB or GC then please feel free to take it and log it without leaving anything. Similarly, simply leaving a TB or GC and nothing else in a cache does not give you the right to take a trade item. Please trade fair and think of future finders.
