If you go down to the woods today... is a circular series about 2 miles round that consists of ten caches and a bonus cache, which you will need to collect clues for from the logbooks of the other caches. The caches are quite close together and all are just off the main footpaths so it is very family friendly and can be completed as intended - a nice stroll in the woods.
The series is set in Ecclesall Woods thanks to the permission of the Sheffield City Council Woodland's Officer. This entire area is a Nature Reserve so please be considerate in your searching.
There are good transport links and plenty of parking around the woods, I would suggest parking on Abbey Lane as there are quite a few lay bys, but please be careful of the busy roads going through the woods.
This is a small rectangular clip and lock box suitable for swap and trackables. Please swap fairly and do not just take items.
My apologies that, due to tree cover, my GPS was only displaying about 30ft/10m accuracy for all these caches so this is something to take into consideration when searching. I have (hopefully) written good enough hints so that it should be easy to find the cache if the co-ordinates are not being too helpful.
