This cache is placed in a location such that you get an incredible view looking over at the Glory Hole at Whitingham Dam.
I remembered coming here on rides with my grandparents as a kid and marveling at this site. Now I figured this would be a great place to hide a cache and get others to experience it as well. You most likely wouldn't ever just happen to drive by here.
The "Glory Hole" is a gigantic concrete spillway shaped like a morning glory. It is 160 feet across and when the lake level rises, the water spills down into the glory hole. After that it empties out at the bottom of the dam.
