We found this commemorative plaque today after landing the hot air balloons in the adjacent fields this morning. After reading the information, we realised a cache was required for this location.
The commemorative plaque on a rock tells you the story of Herbert Castle. From his humble beginings in a tent, to his family and then to his accidental death.
You'll just need to go to find this cache to find out what Herbert Castle is all about.
The cache is a screw lid container with some swaps, a couple of pencils & our typical "stone paper" logbook.
Parking is available near the cache on Herbert Castle Drive, but dont proceed through the gateway as this is private property.
