4th annual Precott Geocache Bash Scrabble Scramble.
It's the 4TH ANNUAL PRESCOTT GEOCACHE BASH--SCRABBLE SCRAMBLE!!
There will be 7 temporary caches hidden all over the city of Prescott. These caches will be available beginning 8am Friday, September 9th until Saturday the 10th at 4pm.
The above waypoint is the final social gathering place at the Freedom Park pavillion in Prescott on Saturday the 10th at 4pm.
HOW DO YOU GET DEALT IN?
Your first tile can be obtained at: N44 45.702 W092 48.011
Take only one envelope per cacher DO NOT OPEN THE ENVELOPES!!
Inside the lid will be the coordinates to the next cache container and your next tile.
You must log each logbook at each cache.
Bring your unopened envelopes to the Great River Road Learning Center/Freedom Park at 4pm on Saturday September 10th. At N44 44.560 W092 47.405
At that time,tile envelopes will be opened and registered. Feel free to exchange tiles with a friend, however only one prize will be given for a winning hand, all 7 tiles must be from different cache containers. Any leftover tiles that you have after your play will be collected.
Not completing all 7 caches will not disqualify you. You will just be playing with a limited number of tiles.
The highest scoring play wins the first choice of prizes and additional prizes will be awarded in a descending order.
We will be relying on the good nature of geocachers to accept the tiles they draw. Please take only ONE envelope per cache, per player……We of course want there to be enough tiles for everone.
The cost of playing: Dillie Beef Sandwiches will be provided. Just bring a dish to pass that will go with them. Feel free to drop and grab a travel bug or two as well.
